Dinosaur Barbecue is Hiring in Park Slope

Early this summer, Dinosaur Barbecue will open its first Brooklyn location in Park Slope. On a recent visit to the 604 Union Street site, and then to Craigslist, signs were up announcing the Brooklyn-by-way-of-Upstate barbecue joint is hiring all positions. The hiring site is setup in a lot next to the restaurant, and future employees are welcomed to apply between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Local artists were also on site painting the new mural in dedication to Raul Vasquez Jr., who was the victim of a shooting on the same block almost twenty years ago. Cutting out windows in the facade displaced the original mural, but Dinosaur founder John Stage contacted Vasquez's mother beforehand and got the OK to relocate it.
